Collaboration with Murat Tabanlıoğlu, organizer of the first pavilion of Turkey in the Venice Architecture Biennale 2014 in which the commissioner was Rem Koolhaas under the theme “Fundamentals”:
Four events were organized around the first own pavilion of Turkey in the Venice Biennale:
– Pavilion exhibition: Commissioner, Murat Tabanlıoğlu, Project Director Pelin Derviş: Places of Memory
– Dinner reception in honor of the flag of Turkey in the Cini Foundation in Venice
– Presentation of the book’s 20th anniversary Tabanlioglu Architects (Rizzoli).
– Workshop at the Biennale with students from Bilgi University, Istanbul, and Politecnico of Milan. Professors: Tabanlıoğlu Murat, Mehmet Kütükçüoğlu, Paolo Belloni.
